News of this edition on the afternoon of Aug.19, the establishment of new period first batch of QC group and activities advancing meeting held on Huangdu showing room. This will indicate the total quanlity management (TQM) enter into a new starting point. More than thirty people including the first batch QC group leader and technological quality testing backbone attended the meeting. Mr.Ling Kaiwen,the Group president attended the meeting and did the importent speech and Mr.Hu Rongyi,vice president took charge of the meeting.

In the meeting, Mr.Lin Kaiwen congratulated on establishment of the first batch of QC group of new period, he said" the establishment of New period of QC group is an important action that company stresses total quality management appearing on the stage; the member of QC group all comes from first line staff and in the future technical staff and administrative staff should participate in QC group acticities and whole participation is very important in improving the quality problems of the products; the leader of department and every workshop should support the activities of the QC group and allocate resourses from funds and times"; Mr. Lin hope that the member of the QC group study constantly, innovate constantly, and could ask professional technical personnels how to slove the relevent subject one their own initiative and make economic benifits in order to improve the quality of products and the quality of work constantly and lower the consumption at the same time. And then Mr.Lin listened to the speech of nine QC group leaders conscientiously. In the meeting, Ms.Yu Mingzhu,vice director of Group quality management office announced the name list for the first batch QC group and reported for the advance plan. This meeting had invited the quality insuring department,engineer Mr. Shen Yihua of Shanghai Steam Turbine Factory specially. And Mr.Shen introduced the acticity experience of Shanghai Steam Turbine's QC group and demonstrated the achivement,Shanghai Outstanding QC group pricze of achivement 《reducing the cost for V-groove milling cutter》exhaustivly which was gained by his unit and gave a vivid lessen to the personnels participating in the conference.

It was reported, this QC group was established to be since President Mr.Ling kaiwen had proposed at quality meeting on July 21, and then Group Quality Management Department formulated《QC group activity advancing plan》entered upon stage after examining and approving formally on July 25. The whole activity divides into seven stages and till now has already implemented the first four stages including training for the leader of QC group, discussing with every workshop director to confirm the subject of QC group acticity and carrying on the registration of the first batch of QC group. In determining the subject stage, Quality Management Department cooperated with every workshop department closely with purpose of improving quality and reducing consumption and setted about on the question of the feedback information from quality and searthing the problems from production scene, inspired each other and defined the active subjuct of first batch of QC group together.Meanwhile, ten QC group registered in the Quality Management Department involving seven workshop and one department of Huandu factory. Therefore, Ms.Yu expressed at the meeting that the first stage plan could go on smoothly is the result of paticipating and advancing positively.

It will enter into substantial operation stage after the establishment of first batch of QC group. After each QC group through the thorough reason analysis to the subject chosed, they will make countermeasure one by one to the main reason and then finish the subject together. According to the advancing activity plan in the achievement news conference of Group Quality Management Department in Nov. and Dec., the achivement evaluation group of QC group composed by Group leader and professional personnel will assess the achivement for every QC group and select every reward. The ways for reward have stipulated concretely in the《Managing method for QC group Activity 》issued recently. In addition, Group will report the documents attending the Issued Achivement Open Challenge of Shanghai QC group to carry forward the KaiQuan Quality Culture.
